CEOC International (Confederation of Inspection and Certification Organisations International) and its members strive to ensure a high degree of safety and quality worldwide.
Safety is a vast field that ranges from complex production facilities, such as chemical factories, to children's toys. CEOC therefore serves a veritable socio-political task, aiming for a superior level of safety and quality.
As part of the 50th Annual General Assembly in Vienna, CEOC International introduced the new internal market package at a press conference held on May 31st 2010. This program is to ease free trade, advance product safety and CE-marking, and emphasize the importance of standardization and accreditations. An illustrious line-up of speakers included Ministerial Councilor Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Göller, CEOC President Dir. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Hugo Eberhardt, CEOC General Secretary Drewin Nieuwenhuis, Commerce Councilor Dipl.-Ing. Johann Marihart, TÜV AUSTRIA President, and Jacques McMillan, Head of Unit, DB Enterprise and Industry, as well as Professor Dr. Helga Kromp-Kol, University of Agriculture Vienna and Mag.
